How the court works

One coin, one court, four ranks. Hold the coin and your rank pays you.

Where the fee goes

Every buy and sell of a Royals coin pays 2%. Meteora keeps 0.4%, then the rest splits evenly: 0.8% to that coin’s court and 0.8% to Royals. It keeps working after the coin graduates from the bonding curve to its Meteora pool.

The four ranks

Ranks come from how much you hold, checked every few minutes. Buy more and you move up. Sell and you move down or lose your NFT. There’s nothing to mint or claim.

Time held counts

Your cut of a payout depends on how long you held your rank since the last payout. Buying right before a payout earns almost nothing. Earnings too small to send are kept for you and added to a later payout.

What a rank is, and isn’t

A rank is

  • An NFT on this site showing where you sit in a coin’s holder list.
  • A share of that coin’s trading fees while you hold, paid in SOL.
  • Live. It follows your balance, so it can’t be sold on its own.

A rank isn’t

  • An on-chain NFT. It isn’t on Magic Eden or Tensor.
  • A share in Royals or in any business, or an investment product.
  • A promise of earnings. No trades means no fees.

Questions

Do I need to do anything to get my NFT?

No. Buy the coin anywhere (Axiom, Jupiter, the Meteora page) and your rank shows up after the next holder check.

Who counts as a holder?

Every wallet with at least 0.01% of supply. The pool, the locked liquidity, burn addresses and Royals’s own wallets are left out.

What if two wallets hold the same amount?

Ties go to whoever has held their rank longer.

What if a rank has empty seats?

A young court may have no Knights yet. That share stays in the coin’s court and rolls into the next payout, so it goes to the court later, not to Royals.

Can I split my coins over many wallets?

You can, but each wallet ranks on its own balance. One big wallet beats ten small ones for the top seats.

Why is the pool creator a Royals wallet?

On Meteora the trading fee goes to the pool creator. Royals sits there so it can collect it and pay out the court’s share. Every coin page shows who really launched it.

What does the dev get?

Their own rank, like any holder. Anything beyond that is still being decided.

What happens after the curve fills?

The coin moves to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool. The court’s share of that pool’s fees keeps paying the ranks, and that liquidity is locked for good.
